Our energy experts are trained to tackle a broad range of energy initiatives:
Today, technology and the need for clean energy coupled with an aging infrastructure have profound effects on the industry. And, once again, our 1,000+ energy professionals are being called upon to help shape the future.
Grounded in deep analytic capabilities, our advisory services help clients make better decisions, manage risk, and deliver value. We use our proprietary analytic methods and tools to ensure that our clients’ decisions stand up to the highest levels of scrutiny, even when faced with rapidly evolving market and regulatory conditions. We understand the forces at play and have the analytic powerhouse to serve as a trusted adviser.
Likewise, as the market changes and customer expectations evolve, ICF’s end-to-end approach to energy efficiency delivers programs that strengthen our clients’ relationships with their own customers. We do so by leveraging our federal, state, local, and industry insight to continuously evaluate new technology-enabled approaches to bringing additional energy savings, boosting customer and trade ally satisfaction, and enhancing customer engagement.
For decades ICF has helped clients harness the power of data to gain insights about the customer journey, a critical first step for utilities seeking to deepen their relevance and cultivate durable relationships.
ICF’s energy specialists understand the value of DER: how to optimize various distributed resources to meet grid needs over time, while considering economic, engineering, and environmental factors.
ICF helps clients formulate the most cost-effective, engaging energy efficiency strategies and deliver programs using proprietary analytics, innovative technology platforms, a dedicated customer service center, and world-class marketing.
With more than 40 years of experience in the energy sector, we are trusted globally to offer clients actionable information about the value, as well as the interrelated cost and risk drivers, behind energy assets.
From strategy, regulatory design, and stakeholder engagement through plant-specific compliance, monitoring and verification, and customer engagement, ICF’s team of multidisciplinary specialists supports you at every stage of the process.
Understanding the critical need for legacy and emerging systems to support improved functionality over time, we advise clients on no-regrets investment strategies to achieve business objectives while planning for—and enabling—the grid of the future.
ICF believes the trend in independent engineering (IE) services toward watered-down, non-committal assessments is a move in the wrong direction. For utilities, developers, and other stakeholders participating in ever more complex and uncertain market terrains, we present due diligence with exacting legitimacy.
After successfully delivering hundreds of customer programs, ICF has first-hand knowledge of how to best help clients assess complex revenue and load growth issues (including impacts on grid operations), identify the most beneficial solutions, and implement with confidence.
ICF offers the comprehensive energy experience, technical due diligence, regulatory background and litigation competence to effectively represent our clients’ interests.
ICF can help clients effectively plan, invest, and manage systems to optimize revenues by increasing visibility to the grid edge and harvesting the value from all distributed generation systems.
