Adam Ungson

Adam is a communications expert with over 10 years of experience planning, executing, and evaluating public awareness campaigns that engage multicultural populations, including Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. He focuses on audience research, material development, cultural competency, plain language, outreach and partnerships, event management and support, and health equity.

Adam works on initiatives that address influenza, COVID-19, substance use disorders, mental health, asthma, public transportation, and energy for federal and state agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, National Institutes of Health, Health and Human Services, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Virginia Department of Health, D.C. Department of Health, American Lung Association, and Potomac Electric Power Company.

Adam received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from the University of Oregon.
