Sunil is a transportation expert with more than 15 years of experience in a broad range of transportation sector projects. 

Sunil is a transportation engineer and planner with over 15 years of experience in operational planning, travel demand forecasting, freight, transportation networks, congestion management, and performance measurement. Sunil leads numerous transportation sector projects for federal, state, and local government agencies.

Sunil supports the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in critical program areas such as the Highway Performance Monitoring System, Traffic Monitoring and Analysis System, motor fuels, vehicle registration, driver licensing, and highway finance. 

Sunil assisted the FHWA in redesigning the Primary Highway Freight System and the maintenance of the National Highway Freight Network. Additionally, he helped the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Metropolitan Planning Organizations with congestion management processes, performance measurement, freight planning, equity analysis, and travel demand management planning.

Sunil holds a master’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in transportation engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Mumbai.
