Samantha (M.Sc.) is an expert in gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) with more than five years of experience in cross-sector GESI mainstreaming in urban development, resilience, and climate change adaptation for developing countries.

As a specialist in gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) with more than five years of experience, Samantha focuses on urban development, resilience, and climate change adaptation. She supports GESI mainstreaming, research and analysis, and monitoring of the U.K. government, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and European Commission projects. Her field of expertise encompases urban development, mobility, infrastructure, and energy sectors in countries such as Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe.

Samantha is passionate about developing and implementing just, equitable, and resilient climate solutions in middle- and low-income countries. She supports clients in integrating equality and inclusion considerations across development work, such as with the U.K. government-funded Nepal Urban Resilience Programme and the U.K. Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions program, as well as the EBRD’s Green City Action Planfor Iasi, Romania.

Samantha is an experienced project manager who has conducted key informant interviews, policy analysis, desk-based research, and media analysis.

Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in global studies from the University of Vermont and a master’s in international development from the University of Edinburgh.
