Harry Oakes, a natural resources ecologist, has worked in the habitat restoration field for many years, designing and implementing phases of habitat restoration projects.
He serves as a project manager and technical lead on habitat restoration projects. He specializes in identifying habitat restoration opportunities and preparing mitigation and monitoring plans and construction plans and specifications. Mr. Oakes performs monitoring surveys, produces monitoring annual reports, and oversees habitat restoration construction projects. He has taught courses on habitat restoration planning and design through the University of California and the California Society for Ecological Restoration, for which he serves as a board member.
