ICF assessed the efficacy of the Smokefree.gov smoking cessation tools, developed a strategic approach to evaluate Smokefree's social media program, and devised a comprehensive evaluation plan of the initiative's eHealth and mHealth services.

The Smokefree.gov initiative was developed by the National Cancer Institute's Tobacco Control Research Branch to develop, manage, and evaluate a nationally and internationally coordinated effort to deliver evidence-based smoking prevention and cessation resources to the public.

ICF conducted a series of research and evaluation activities to create foundations for new programs, guide the refinement of existing programs, and showcase the various outcomes from Smokefree's efforts.

ICF's in-depth evaluation allows NCI and its partners to maximize taxpayer dollars by ensuring they are invested in activities proven to generate positive behavior change.
