Barbara Mejia is primarily engaged in strategic business planning and economic analysis for airlines and airports. She develops frameworks in airline and airport by consulting to support clients' strategic decision making, conducting market and passenger analysis and forecast, and preparing presentations and reports. Ms. Mejia is an expert in and main user of NetWorks—ICF's proprietary route network planning supporting decision tool.
Prior to joining ICF, Ms. Mejia worked for Aeromexico Airlines in network planning. She has extensive experience in statistical and financial data analysis, forecasting for route and scheduling planning, benchmarking, fleet planning, assessment of the business plan, and developing the revenue budget forecast. She also participated in a joint project for Aeromexico and Mexicana—implementing, maintaining, and developing the forecasting profitability valuation model.
Ms. Mejia has an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management and a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
