Judsen Bruzgul

Dr. Judsen Bruzgul


Judsen Bruzgul has more than 12 years of experience conducting research and analysis on environmental challenges and connecting results to management and policy decisions. Dr. Bruzgul's work has helped improve transparency in decision making for scientists and policymakers given uncertainty related to environmental change.

Prior to joining ICF, Dr. Bruzgul was a visiting fellow with the American Meteorological Society Policy Program, working on projects designed to improve the ability of communities to manage the risks of a changing climate. He also worked at the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) on climate change adaptation, developing and implementing policy recommendations for the United States. Dr. Bruzgul's research experience includes work aimed at enhancing predictions of current and future climate change effects on human and natural systems, studies of the distribution of global biodiversity to better prioritize limited conservation resources, and laboratory investigations to understand causes of global amphibian decline.

Dr. Bruzgul has a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and a B.A. in Biochemistry from Middlebury College.
