Dr. Linda Birnbaum, Director at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), was the keynote speaker at the April 2016 joint event collaboratively hosted by ICF and George Washington University. At the event, Birnbaum presented her findings on how the environment affects not only our own personal health, but our children’s health and future, concluding with the idea that being conscious of what is around you can raise awareness about potential health concerns.
