Sunita Kishor

Vice President and Director, Demographic and Health Surveys
Sunita is a gender expert, demographer, and survey specialist with 25 years of experience in providing technical assistance to population-based surveys.
Sunita Kishor is an ICF Vice President and is the Director of the Demographic and Health Surveys Project. She has experience in the dissemination, use, and analysis of survey data in low- and middle-income countries. Sunita is a widely recognized expert in the design, collection, and analysis of gender-related data, particularly in the areas of women’s empowerment and violence against women. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and has been invited to speak at the United Nations and various other forums. Sunita has worked extensively with the U.S. Agency for International Development, other donors, and development partners on indicator development, survey measurement, and gender.
