New funding source: FY25 Disaster Supplemental Grant Program
A $1.45B opportunity to strengthen disaster recovery and resilience
The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) has launched a new round of funding under the FY25 Disaster Supplemental Grant Program. This opportunity provides $1.45 billion to help communities recover and build resilience following major disaster declarations in 2023 and 2024.
Funding is available to state and local governments, special districts, public and private nonprofits, and institutions of higher education for both construction and non-construction projects that advance resilience, disaster preparedness, and economic recovery.
This program comes at a critical time as it provides a significant source of funding during a period of uncertainty for many organizations.
