FEMA BRIC is back: What to know to secure funding

After an extended pause, FEMA’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant program is back on. FEMA released a combined Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) that allocates up to $1 billion for state, local, tribal, and territorial governments for hazard mitigation projects. Applications are open now and due to FEMA on July 23, 2026.
