Hova Woods has 10 years of experience analyzing the environmental impacts of complex and controversial projects, including rulemakings, infrastructure projects, and other permitted and licensed activities.
She specializes in managing and reviewing Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) and Environmental Assessments (EAs) prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related laws and authorities (e.g., the Endangered Species Act [ESA], National Historic Preservation Act [NHPA], and Clean Air Act [CAA]). Ms. Woods has developed NEPA guidance, training, and regulations. She is a member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals NEPA Working Group. She holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.P.A. in Environmental Policy.
