Andrew Schulte joined ICF in 2005. Since this time, his work has focused on Federal programs to improve the energy performance of commercial buildings in the United States, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® program and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Initiative. His areas of expertise include commercial building energy performance benchmarking, as well as the role of utilities in facilitating access to the data that commercial customers need to benchmark and improve their properties.
Andrew holds an M.Sc. In Environmental Policy, Planning, and Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. in Psychology and Environmental Studies from Williams College. After starting his career with ICF at the Fairfax, VA headquarters, he now lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife, daughter, and overly-energetic rescue dog.
