Amy Sanders has more than seven years of communication experience and specializes in social engagement, content strategy, integrated marketing, and web and social strategy for low literacy and at-risk populations. She is also a skilled project manager and has worked to achieve multichannel communication goals for both U.S. government and commercial clients, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, LiveSTRONG, and Kaiser Permanente.
Ms. Sanders has supported many government communication activities, including web, social, mobile, and evaluation projects for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' premier smoking cessation initiative, Smokefree.gov, reaching nearly 3 million people each year.
Ms. Sanders received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Merit Award for her work in advancing the field of health information technology (IT). She has presented and published on topics ranging from social media engagement to health IT in the field of pediatric oncology.
Ms. Sanders has an M.A. in Communication from Texas A&M.
