Anna Roberts

Consultant—International Development, Communications and Gender/Inclusion Specialist

Anna is a communications and gender/inclusion mainstreaming specialist with more than five years of experience in international development.

Anna manages and implements complex projects across Asia, Africa, and South America. She focuses on international cooperation, urban development, and climate resilience. Some of her international clients include the European Commission, Asian Development Bank, Cities Development Initiative for Asia, and the U.K.’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

Anna supported projects to improve urban livability, enhance climate resilience, and build local institutional capacity—all with attention to mainstreaming gender and inclusion considerations. She also facilitated stronger bilateral cooperation rooted in the strategic analysis and alignment of priorities that support policy dialogue.

Earlier in her career, Anna developed and implemented high-level communications and public relations campaigns for corporate, government, and nonprofit clients. She currently carries out similar work at the project level to encourage the participatory engagement of stakeholders through promoting the visibility of ongoing work.

Anna holds a master of science in international development and humanitarian emergencies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
