Clare Lynam
Senior Manager, Health Communications

Clare Lynam joined ICF in June 2017 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the strategic communications, public affairs and public relations fields for government, private sector and non-profit accounts. She is a senior manager in Social Marketing.

Previously, Ms. Lynam served as the communications director at a women's health membership organization, the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Prior to this, she worked for many years at the public relations firm of Powell Tate, a part of Weber Shandwick, for a variety of government, corporate, non-profit and association clients across industry sectors.

Ms. Lynam started her career on Capitol Hill as press secretary to former Senator Frank Murkowski.

After losing her son to leukemia in 2009, she started a non-profit, Ben’s Run/Ben’s Gift, Inc. The organization funds pediatric cancer clinical trial research focusing on cures after cancer relapse.

Ms. Lynam has a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
