Scott Lobdell

Director, Wind Technical Advisory
Scott focuses on providing technical diligence and has supported more than 13 gigawatts of wind turbine and fuel cell projects since October 2000.

Scott is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in wind and renewable energy. Prior to joining ICF, Scott worked for almost 16 years in onshore wind turbine commercial technical leadership at General Electric. He was responsible for assessing site risk, developing configurations, and delivery of technical customer requirements and supporting documentation. Scott also worked for six years at Plug Power as a Test Operations Supervisor, maintaining fuel cell test stations and standardizing processes for reliability and durability tests.

In his current role, he manages wind technical advisory services such as owner’s advisory engineering, commercial due diligence, technology due diligence, site assessment and suitability review, and asset management.
