Doug Leslie

Doug Leslie has more than 20 years of experience as a senior wildlife biologist and project manager. He specializes in conservation planning, wildlife surveys and habitat assessments, and natural resources planning and impact assessment. Mr. Leslie prepares and implements habitat conservation plans (HCPs); resource management plans; preserve management plans; and resource inventory reports and documents for  Endangered Species Act (ESA), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance. He has managed numerous projects throughout the Central Valley, San Francisco-San Joaquin Delta, and Coast Ranges and is the project manager on several large- and small-scale monitoring projects. He is also the lead wildlife biologist preparing the Yuba-Sutter HCP/Natural Community Conservation Plan (NCCP) and the Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Sacramento Valley O&M HCP.

Mr. Leslie has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Humboldt State University and an M.S. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University.
