Nick Lange

Nick works with leaders and experts to further their strategic goals and client objectives through close, high-value partnerships. With over 20 years at the forefront of energy policies, programs, and product solutions, Nick combines visionary insights with practical execution.

Nick supports strategy enablement, accelerated offering development, and organizational efficacy and is the energy and climate lead for our innovation services team. In early 2023, he helped form ICF’s generative AI enablement team and launch client projects aimed at enhancing quality and productivity. He plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and validating custom, large language model workflow applications.

Nick began his career designing and building megawatt-scale renewable and high-efficiency energy systems. Later, as a consultant, he developed national recognition as an expert generalist for his work in energy policy, emerging technologies, and community engagement. Today, Nick is at the forefront of interdisciplinary efforts to amplify mission impacts and improve business results.
