Midstream Infrastructure Development – Who Will Prosper?

The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) Foundation recently released the ICF study North America Midstream Infrastructure Development through 2035: Leaning Into the Headwinds. This report--the fourth for INGAA supported by ICF--projects future midstream infrastructure requirements for natural gas and, more recently, oil and gas liquids. With recent market changes in mind, this new study analyzes the potential impacts of reduced commodity (e.g., oil and gas) prices and uncertainty about the economic outlook. Like past studies, this insight informs industry, policymakers, and stakeholders about the ongoing dynamics of North America’s energy markets and the infrastructure required to serve them.

This webinar examines midstream infrastructure development more explicitly over the next five years with a focus on implications for investors, LDCs, and midstream operators.

In this webinar, we will highlight:

  • Risks and opportunities for midstream development in light of producer bankruptcies and the expanding role that utilities are playing.
  • Geographic diversity of midstream development.
  • Where development is likely to remain robust and where it may suffer.
