This policy brief draws lessons learnt from a wider evaluation report which ICF undertook for DFID. It looks at the successes and challenges of transferring useful knowledge, skills and practices to key personnel in India’s secondary education school delivery system. The brief provides an overview of the six DFID funded projects as well as wider learning points regarding characteristics of successful Technical Assistance programmes, the utility of DFID systems and tools in Technical Assistance contexts and what did and did not work well. A more detailed analysis can be found in the main report.
