Andrew Ritcheson

Andrew is an expert in supporting complex organizations and leading sophisticated interdisciplinary teams in delivering value and innovation in aid of better health outcomes.

Andrew is a career-long interdisciplinarian who has the knowledge and experience to bridge multiple professional disciplines. He blends clinical and scientific skills, insight and methodologies with disciplined leadership, consulting, coaching, and business practices and helps organizations and individuals meet and overcome their toughest challenges. As an experienced healthcare leader, Andrew develops and delivers strategy, operations, and information technology programs and solutions in the biomedical and behavioral health sectors.

Andrew is also an expert in supporting complex organizations and leading sophisticated interdisciplinary teams in delivering value and innovation in aid of better health outcomes. He has an extensive background in behavioral health, patient care, biomedical informatics, organizational transformation, business process improvement, program management, applied research, and strategic communication. During his career, Andrew has led major, multi-year biomedical research support programs at the National Institutes of Health, a wide portfolio of health programs at the Military Health System, and led large international applied research programs.

Andrew teaches Health Informatics and is a member of the adjunct faculty at George Mason University’s Department of Health Administration and Policy. He is also on the Board of External Advisors to both Georgetown University Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics and George Washington University Medical School.
