Mike Lindsay

Senior Director, Homeless Services
Mike is a public services specialist with more than 20 years of experience committed to enhancing and improving homeless response systems.

Mike is a housing services expert with more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, system and policy analysis, and technical assistance and training to Continuums of Care (CoCs), Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), state and local governments, and non-profit organizations.

Mike leads our homeless services team, which is comprised of more than 20 technical assistance providers and consultants who support communities by equitably addressing and ending homelessness through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and local funding. He specializes in CoCs, HMIS, and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) and related areas, including governance and structure, coordinated entry design and implementation, and HMIS vendor and lead changes/capacity building.

Mike established strong CoC governance processes and structures in Texas; developed HMIS recommendations for the State of Oregon; and provided intensive coaching and Emergency Solutions Grants—CARES Act (ESG-CV) technical assistance to communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mike earned an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
