Elena Linczenyiova

Director, Content and Policy + ICF Climate Center Senior Fellow
Elena translates the complexity of European Union policies into clear and engaging content, with over two decades of strategic communication and broadcast journalism experience.

Elena is passionate about European history and politics, with over two decades of strategic communication and broadcast journalism experience. She is interested in content strategy, content marketing, and new ways of creating and consuming content.

In her role, Elena provides insights and in-depth policy expertise on a wide range of European Union issues and defines the most relevant and effective content within a larger strategic framework. She designs content strategies, develops content methodologies, and supervises editorial content across an extensive communication project portfolio.

Elena started her career as a TV news reporter and foreign correspondent. Throughout her journalistic career, she has designed, produced, and presented a wide range of TV programs focused on politics and European affairs. She spent five years in Brussels as a bureau chief, covering European news for the leading Slovak television channel STV. Elena joined ICF Next in 2004, first as project manager and then as head of the audiovisual department and head of editorial content.

Elena speaks fluent French and English, in addition to her native Slovak.

Elena is also a senior fellow with the ICF Climate Center. In this role, she provides compelling research and objective perspectives on a wide range of climate-related topics to help advance climate conversations and accelerate climate action.
