Terry Lashley

Dr. Terry Lashley

Expert Consultant

Terry Lashley is a Tennessee state coordinator for the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center (ARCC). She has extensive experience in program design, delivery, management, and evaluation of K–20 instruction and curricular reform projects. Her teaching expertise includes science and mathematics in grades 7–12 and university level preservice students, and she has delivered technical assistance in data analysis; instructional strategies; college and career readiness; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content and pedagogies; and she has evaluated large-scale reform higher education projects.

Dr. Lashley serves on the Reform Support Network Expert Database for Math Science Partnerships Technical Assistance and on the Tennessee STEM Leadership Council. A Fellow in the National Academy of Math Science Educational Leaders, she also worked with the American Association for the Advancement of Science Project 2061 Professional Development Cadre and assisted the National Center for Improving Science Education on evaluation design.

Dr. Lashley has a Ph.D. in Science Education and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee; she also has a B.S. in Biology/Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin.
