Shanthi Muthiah

Shanthi has spent more than 30 years at ICF helping energy organizations navigate complex infrastructure investment, planning, and operational challenges across an increasingly dynamic energy landscape. In her current role, she brings together ICF's integrated energy expertise across advisory, engineering, analytics, implementation, and deployment to help clients address evolving market, regulatory, and infrastructure needs. She also helps shape ICF's perspective on emerging industry trends and works closely with clients to translate those insights into practical strategies and solutions.

Over the course of her career, Shanthi has held a variety of leadership roles at ICF, including leading the firm's Energy Advisory business for more than a decade. She has worked with utilities, developers, investors, infrastructure funds, independent power producers, lenders, and digital infrastructure clients. Her expertise spans the full lifecycle of energy development and investment, with a particular focus on power markets, asset valuation, project development, financing, M&A, restructuring, and portfolio optimization.

Shanthi has worked across energy markets in North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Caribbean. In addition to her client responsibilities, she served on the board of ICF India from 2004 to 2017.
