Cara is a climate change and sustainability professional with over 10 years of experience in greenhouse gas accounting, sustainability performance tracking, and climate action planning.

Cara is a climate change and sustainability professional with over 10 years of experience in greenhouse gas accounting, sustainability performance tracking, and climate action planning. Cara provides technical and strategic guidance on climate change and sustainability projects for the federal government, state and local governments, and corporations.

Cara supports organizations in developing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, preparing GHG reduction targets, including net-zero planning and science-based targets, and incorporating sustainability measures into decision-making business processes. She also has extensive experience in materials management and advises clients on strategies to achieve waste reduction and diversion goals.

Cara’s professional projects include the development of Fairfax County Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan; U.S. National Park Service solid waste management and environmental purchasing program; and GHG inventory development, target setting support, and GHG life cycle assessments for corporations in automobile manufacturing, financial services, and media and entertainment.
