Maggie Townsley specializes in developing streamlining strategies in project delivery under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for transportation projects for federal, state, and local governments.

Ms. Townsley is an instructor for environmental studies and collaborates extensively with agencies to secure related environmental permits and approvals, including wetland dredge and fill permits and stormwater pollution and waste discharge permits under the Clean Water Act, conformity determinations from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Clean Air Act, biological assessments and Section 7 consultations with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for compliance with the federal Endangered Species Act, and historic evaluations under the National Historic Preservation Act.

Ms. Townsley received an M.S. in community and regional planning, a B.S. in geological sciences, and a B.A. in French from the University of Texas at Austin.
