Cities across the country are working to develop equitable, sustainable, and cost-effective strategies to move people and critical infrastructure out of harm’s way. This challenge is only going to grow greater as extreme weather events and climate impacts become more frequent and intense over the coming decades.

We’re hosting a public sector resilience roundtable on Monday, September 21, during New York City Climate Week in partnership with ICLEI USA, The National League of Cities, and other partners. You’re invited to join and participate in this important discussion.

You’ll hear from municipal leaders who will discuss the programs and land use policies they've used to move people and infrastructure away from areas at greatest risk. We’ll then facilitate an open roundtable discussion on the challenges communities have faced as they work to develop, fund, and implement these programs. Register today to secure your spot.

This event is private, invite-only, and will operate under Chatham House Rules to promote a candid and productive conversation.

ICF Climate Center Roundtables are designed to be 50% panel remarks and 50% audience discussion, so come prepared to share your experiences on the forum topic, and to ask the panelists and your fellow audience members for their advice and feedback on initiatives you are considering developing in your community.
