Amel Saebi
Amel has over 20 years of experience in EU policy communication, awareness-raising campaigns, and long-term framework contracts. She brings strong expertise in integrated communication strategy, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional team leadership.
Amel co-leads the ICF Next Europe & Asia Division and serves as client services director. In this role, she oversees and actively participates in the agency workflow to increase efficiency and quality. Amel’s well-practiced managerial skills allow her to resolve conflicts and anticipate risks well in advance.
Throughout her career, Amel has worked with an impressive list of Directorate-Generals, executive agencies, decentralised European (EU) agencies, and the European Parliament and Council, gaining invaluable insights into the needs and working methods of different institutions. Amel oversaw and contributed to the implementation of several European Years, demonstrating time and again her ability to lead a team that delivers quality services for the European Year of Poverty & Inclusion (DG EMPL), European Year of Cultural Heritage (DG EAC), European Year of Youth (DG EAC), and the European Year of Skills (DG EMPL). She also oversaw a number of corporate campaigns and public awareness-raising campaigns such as EUandME, EU Protects, Next Generation EU for DG COMM, and the ‘Go-To-Vote’ video campaign for 2024 European Union elections.
During her time at ICF Next, Amel has participated in the implementation of notable flagship events, conferences, advertising campaigns, and European Commission (EC) programmes. Amel’s extensive knowledge of contract rules and principles is demonstrated via her oversight of more than 20 framework contracts at ICF Next over the years.
