Nishit Pande

Director, Energy Advisory
Nishit is an energy expert with nearly 20 years of experience in research and analytics, project management, product development, and engineering. 

Nishit is an accomplished energy professional working in the power and utilities industries across various geographies. His work focuses on power, oil and gas market modeling, load-flow analysis, project management, product innovation, and economic market analysis. 

Nishit’s expertise includes transaction advisory (buy- and sell-side), regulatory impact analysis (distributed resources, renewable and hybrid technologies, and other disruptive technologies), price and demand sensitivity analysis to support market assessment, and transaction  market entry strategies. He also evaluates renewable penetration strategy and its financial and market implications. 

Nishit joined our U.S. office in 2022, after working as the product division’s team lead and manager of our operations in India. Nishit also worked with us from India as a consultant in the power and utilities space, where he executed client engagements in North America and Asian markets. 

Earlier in his career, Nishit was an energy transition practice principal, supporting commercial advisory and merger and acquisition transaction due diligence projects and leading America’s power market modeling at Wood Mackenzie. He also worked as an electrical engineer in the downstream petroleum refining industry with Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
