Matt Maurer joined ICF in 2016 and currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer. Matt leads all aspects of ICF’s marketing and external communications including marketing strategy, brand management, digital marketing, PR and executive communications and marketing & sales operations.
Matt has more than 20 years of experience leading marketing and communications strategies in the technology, policy and professional service industries. Prior to joining ICF, Matt served as the top communications officer for Opower and Blackboard, two of the Washington, D.C.-area’s most successful technology startup companies. He has also led a broad range of marketing teams and initiatives during his career. Matt began his career in the PR industry, where he helped to build and execute communications strategies for clients ranging from Intel and IBM to the U.S. Department of Education and several grantees of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
