Juanita Haydel has 30 years of experience supporting clients in the federal government as well as states, local, and non-governmental organizations in energy market analyses. Her expertise is in environmental and energy policy work with a focus on the electric power sector, industrial energy efficiency issues, and air regulatory analyses. She currently directs our federal energy practice.
Juanita Haydel directs ICF International's electric power and energy policy work serving federal, state, and local governments ,as well as nongovernment clients. She focuses on the industrial and electric power sectors and environmental and economic analyses of air regulatory issues. Most of her work relies on ICF's power sector modeling tool—IPM®—for analyzing alternative proposed policies, including regulatory approaches and legislation.
Ms. Haydel has an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management where she concentrated in Finance and Applied Economics. She also has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and Planning from MIT.
