Ali Bozorgi, Ph.D.

Senior Manager, Distributed Energy Resources Analytics
Ali is a distributed energy resources expert with experience working on energy economic analysis and forecasting with advanced modeling tools and optimization to support our utility clients.

Ali is a Senior Manager on our distributed energy resources (DER) analytics team. He has more than 12 years of experience supporting a variety of projects, including DER potential studies for various utilities and states, energy efficiency program design and cost-effectiveness analysis, and DER portfolio planning. Ali has also worked on the development of various demand-side management planning tools and energy assessment tools. Over the past five years, he has managed DER potential studies and DER program planning for several clients such as NRCan, SaskEnergy, Washington Gas, Oncor, Evergy, Dominion Energy South Carolina, Entergy Arkansas, Entergy Louisiana, Cleco, and Commonwealth Edison.

Ali has published several papers and has presented at several industry conferences including ACEEE EER, ACEEE Summer Study, AESP, and BECC.
