Chad Beckstrom offers over 20 years of experience in the environmental planning field, advising government agencies, maritime ports, special districts, and private applicants on state and federal environmental compliance laws. Chad understands the full range of environmental laws and regulatory requirements associated with CEQA/NEPA review processes, including the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act.

As port and maritime sector leader within ICF’s Environment & Planning division, Chad supports ports with strategy development, guidance, and delivery of diverse, complex, and groundbreaking projects that are paving the way for environmentally responsible and sustainable port development. He is well- equipped to help implement maritime port capital improvement, operational, and major tenant projects such as container terminals, cargo rail yards, marine research facilities, cruise ships, and waterfront development projects.
