For ICF International, Barbara Lamprecht evaluates buildings, performs environmental reviews, and assists in rehabilitating historic buildings. She prepares applications for buildings eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, National Historic Landmarks, and Mills Act programs. With expertise in all areas of architectural history, she specializes in Modernism.
She is the author of two books and speaks widely on Neutra, Modernism, and how to preserve early- and mid-20th century buildings while meeting new needs at venues, such as the National Building Museum, Washington, DC; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Francisco; and Claremont Heritage and Santa Monica Conservancy in Southern California. Trained as an architect, she holds a Master of Architecture degree.
