Robby Bizot is a disaster management expert with over 13 years of experience in disaster recovery and financial management.

Robby has over 13 years of experience in the administration of Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery and mitigation funding, with a specific focus on multifamily housing, area benefit analysis, and procurement regulations.

Earlier in his career, Robby served as the director of housing recovery for the State of Louisiana. He provided oversight and direction for rental housing programs associated with hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav, Ike, Isaac, and the Great Floods of 2016, which was more than $785 million.

Robby served as the finance manager for the State of Louisiana’s Disaster Recovery Unit. These grants were used for implementing payments, budget versus expenditure reconciliation, and revenue collection recording.

Robby also served as a section chief for Louisiana’s $750 million-dollar Hazard Mitigation Grant Program instituted after hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He led teams processing initial intake applications to the inevitable final payment process of completed elevation activities.
