Molly Bargmann
Molly Bargmann is a nationally recognized disaster recovery leader with more than 15 years of experience helping communities prepare for, respond to and recover from complex emergencies. She specializes in FEMA programs, large scale recovery operations and mission driven emergency management strategy.
Molly Bargmann brings over 15 years of disaster recovery expertise to ICF, spanning both public and private sector roles. She has worked in emergency management for more than a decade, serving at both the state and local levels in Florida and Nebraska.
Molly is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) who has led numerous disaster recovery efforts across many diverse types of events—from hurricanes and historic floods to hazardous material spills and pandemics. Molly has served in command and support roles for major hurricane responses, including Ian, Idalia, Debby, Helene, and Milton. She has supported recovery operations, helping communities navigate complex FEMA programs, and secure critical funding for long-term recovery.
Molly began her EM career by earning her master's degree in public administration, specializing in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from the University of Colorado. She is passionate about empowering communities to prepare for recovery before disaster strikes, believing that early planning paves the way for a more efficient and effective response. Molly is also committed to inspiring the next generation of EM leaders, serving as a mentor to early-career professionals in the field. She is known for her solution-oriented leadership style and her ability to guide communities through high-pressure recovery environments with clarity and confidence.
