Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) TRACIE An ICF Case Study

ICF consultants understand what it means to be there when our clients need us most—just as those working in disaster response must be there for communities in need.

In response to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the U.S Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) created the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to lead work in prevention, preparation, and response to public health emergencies and disasters, ASPR turned to ICF as a development partner. The result of this partnership was ASPR TRACIE, an information gateway for easily accessible information and technical assistance about healthcare system preparedness, public health preparedness and disaster clinical medicine.

Download the case study to learn how ASPR TRACIE’s innovative framework and rich content represent a best case outcome for collaborative development when our nation’s resilience and preparedness depend on it.
