Dr Kisha Coa

Senior Technical Specialist

Kisha I. Coa, PhD, is a behavioral scientist with more than 10 years of experience conducting health communication research and evaluation for government clients including the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since joining ICF in 2015, Dr. Coa has guided the development and evaluation of digital health interventions. She also leads evaluations of large scale health communication campaigns. Dr. Coa's expertise lies in maximizing the use of data and using innovative statistical approaches to inform the design and optimization of health communication programs and campaigns. Prior to coming to ICF, she completed a Cancer Research Training Award Fellowship at NCI. Dr. Coa received her PhD in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, her MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and her BA in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh
