ICF seeks a Health Communications Coordinator to work across federal public health contracts. This is a great opportunity to support a team that is working on meaningful projects that are affecting lives every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers in strategic communications planning, assisting with digital communications, campaign, materials development, and stakeholder outreach.
  • Provide administrative and logistics support across projects including managing project timelines, meetings, deliverables, and work plans, and developing meeting notes and monthly project reports. 
  • Works with senior team members to provide technical support for digital library of campaign resources, and monthly webinar execution and follow-up.
  • Serves as traffic coordinator to support, track, and update progress on ad-hoc, technical assistance, and internal Creative Services team requests in support of a range of communication products and activities. 
  • Own project tasks, with oversight from senior team members, and complete key deliverables. 
  • Support implementation of communication strategies and tactics to reach and engage audiences to increase visibility of government data, resources, and materials. 

 Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., public health, health communication, public relations, or social sciences)
  • 2+ yrs of communications experience, government experience preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe’s Platform for webinars

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal health agencies, developing, and implementing public health communications campaigns. 

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems.
  • Experience with project/task tracking software preferred (e.g., Smartsheet).
