Learning and Development Partner - Europe and Asia


About the team:

The corporate Learning & Development (L&D) team collaborates with ICF business leaders and the HR & Learning community to provide focused performance consulting, tailored learning solutions, and a continuous learning ecosystem to fuel our people’s ongoing learning, career growth and business results.

About the role:

Based in our London office, you will be our L&D Partner supporting our Europe and Asia (E&A) organization and supporting training and development programmes across the region. You will manage a variety of learning projects across many topics: management, project management, business development, innovation, well-being, and induction. You'll be working with a talented global learning team and will travel across our offices in the UK, Belgium, India and China.

Specifically you will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with ICF E&A business leaders/HR to identify training needs, address skills gaps and adjust training to align with business goals.
  • Actively participate as team member of the Corporate L&D team representing E&A requirements and deploying programs throughout E&A.
  • Supervise and provide direction to the E&A Learning Operations Specialist who will assist in coordinating availability and scheduling of live and virtual training across our Europe & Asia regions and in Workday Learning.
  • Produce and assist in facilitation (as needed) of virtual training events within virtual training platforms (i.e. Adobe Connect and Skype for Business).
  • Continuously drive improvement of learning programs by using qualitative and quantitative feedback from delegates, HR, and the overall ICF business.
  • Manage the E&A L&D budget with a view to offering the most cost effective and business appropriate learning solutions.
  • Manage existing and new learning suppliers.
  • Manage the Apprenticeship Levy.

What you'll need to succeed:

You'll need to be passionate about L&D and have a proven track record in the design and delivery of engaging, business focused training programmes.

Specifically, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in training and development or closely related field with relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in training and development
  • Proven experience in developing business relationships with internal clients, preferably in a matrix environment.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding the use of learning technologies to engage the business through a variety of mediums
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to perform effectively and to execute complex projects and tasks simultaneously
