Pipeline Manager - Business Development

Location: Birmingham

The Europe & Asia Group at ICF are recruiting for a Pipeline Manager to oversee our growing sales pipeline. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across the global business. The role will be based in our Birmingham office.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Management
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of the financial sales database (Microsoft Dynamics) for the Europe & Asia Group at ICF and ensure that all opportunities being tracked are captured
  • Administer and be responsible for the integrity of 900+ records for the Europe & Asia Group
  • Manage proactively the contribution of sales information from colleagues across the business
  • Manage and train new users within the group
  • Lead the development of data management processes/procedures that align with organisational goals
  • Administer and manage business development systems to inform the business on sales (SharePoint, Yammer)
  • Collaborate with US colleagues to ensure that processes are followed across groups
  • Reporting
  • Perform analysis of sales information on a weekly basis and create standardised graphics and bespoke analysis to identify market and business trends  
  • Prepare weekly business reporting to group leaders
  • Present to company leaders on a monthly basis the key business metrics around client activity, win rates and forthcoming bidding activity
  • Manage the reporting for the sales of the group at quarter end for announcement to Wall Street analysts
  • Lead sales forecasting for revenue planning from the Business Development team annually

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Excellent oral and written English
  • Advanced MS Excel skills to include experience with pivot tables, writing formulas and VLOOKUPs
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint
  • 5+ years of customer service skills in a busy environment 
  • Experience with database system administration
  • Experience of analysing data comprehensively to identify market trends and hold meaningful dialogue with colleagues about the drivers of change
