We're looking for an experienced, talented and highly motivated Associate Media Director. The candidate will manage our flagship health client and a team of media planners to develop paid media strategies and tactics that help clients meet their critical communication and business. Strong candidates will have heavy experience with both offline and digital media, with an emphasis on digital.

What you will be doing

  • Manage multi-million dollar and multi-faceted clients and budgets
  • Demonstrate leadership within your group of accounts, the paid media team, the company and with clients
  • Demonstrate understanding of clients’ target audiences, communications and business objectives and the strategies/tactics required to engage with those audiences and meet objectives
  • Effectively interact with high-level clients in strategic discussions
  • Ability to manage a team of media planners and work collaboratively with project managers and clients
  • Mentor and develop direct reports to ensure a path for success
  • Organize human and other resources within your group of accounts to ensure efficient and effective implementation of client deliverables
  • Deliver client requirements while maintaining campaign budgets and goals
  • Handle client concerns and maintenance of media schedules before, during, and after schedule deployment
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media partners
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ of media strategy/planning experience and working in an agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Digital Media experience required
  • Offline Media experience a plus
  • Experience working on fast-paced accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills and excellent organizational skills
