Outreach Communications Specialist

Fairfax, VA with travel to client site in the DC metro area

ICF is hiring an Outreach Communications Specialist to support a Human Capital Project to provide benchmarking across multiple functional areas and drafting, editing, and documenting findings into decision briefs or other formats for senior leaders’ review and action.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing communication and outreach programs, projects, and initiatives; determining best approaches, venues, and technologies to convey ideas, messages, program strategies, etc.; and implementing such programs and initiatives.
  • Experience in oral and written communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to transfer ideas through various channels of communication with intent to persuade and influence, and advise, inform or direct intended and select audience(s).
  • Experience in benchmarking across multiple functional areas and drafting, editing, and documenting findings into decision briefs or other HCMO process formats for senior leaders’ review and action.
  • Experience and proficiency in utilization of social media platforms that support and promote agency level communication and outreach efforts during transition, transfer, and transformation phases.
