Quality and Training Coordinator

Martinsville, VA

Job Description

To support our growth, ICF is adding staff to its commercial energy team in the Martinsville, Virginia area to support a wide range of energy programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government organizations. We are seeking a Quality and Training Coordinator to take a significant role in the implementation of programs that will deliver and expand our offerings. You should have the unique combination of interpersonal and analytical skill that will make you a critical member of our team from the day you arrive. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training to new hires and ongoing refresher trainings for existing employees across a variety of technical programs
  • Work with the training lead to develop automated trainings for core skills
  • Evaluate quality findings and coordinate with the quality control team to implement process improvement strategies that improve overall quality
  • Develop targeted training and knowledge testing, based on error trends
  • Focus on adult learning techniques to improve quality and knowledge retention across a variety of technical programs
  • Work with supervisors and senior management to propose and implement training and quality assurance techniques
  • Work with quality assurance/quality control team to report and correct trends
  • Centralize and consolidate data for high level reporting

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years in similar role, developing and delivering training or content
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience designing and developing curriculum and training programs
  • Must quickly learn and implement new processes
  • Experience managing and implementing projects preferred
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Outstanding analytical, written, and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Professional Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, required
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team
  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude required
