Who we’re looking for:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify the program’s function according to user requirements.  As a senior professional, he/she may also be called to estimate timelines, allocate resources, and mentor QAs. Ideal candidate has experience and/or interest in interfacing with our external client.  This person has experience in web services, file processing and mobile applications, creating and executing test plans, and experience in functional testing, performance testing.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Estimate project timelines
  • Resource allocation and planning
  • Mentoring QAs on client team
  • Interface with external client troubleshooting and answering questions
  • Production support as needed, including troubleshooting production issues
  • Retrieving, reviewing and analyzing data
  • Identifying barriers and root causes of data issues and performance gaps
  • Write, revise and verify quality standards and test procedures
  • Collect and produce written documentation based on testing results
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements to project teams
  • Review logs to identify program processing errors
  • Write and execute detailed test cases to identify potential application defects
  • Perform trend analysis and identify quality improvement opportunities
  • Create and maintain automated test script for regression testing
  • Assist in the execution of integration or end-to-end testing with client systems or programs
  • Research best practices to determine quality improvement initiatives and utilization standards
  • Identify and recommend procedures and workflow improvements
  • Write documentation to describe program evaluation, testing and correction
  • Work with management, account, technical and creative teams to develop and streamline work flows
  • Provide feedback to both management and employees on work quality
  • Participate and/or leads appropriate project work

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance professional
  • Experience in testing web sites, web services, file processing and mobile applications
  • Experience in reading and/or writing SQL scripts and/or queries
  • Experience in system, security and functional testing, with an understanding of performance testing and stress/load/soak testing 
  • Extensive experience with writing Test Cases and Test Scripts, including creation of test data
  • Proficient in managing defects and change requests
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Sound understanding of web application technologies
  • Capable of clearly communicating complex issues to technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience with full software development life cycles and process improvement methodologies
  • Able to balance priorities and communicate effectively in a fast-moving, agile product development environment
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of individuals and problem solve complex issues
  • Experience working with external clients a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly desired
