Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing team! Based in Chicago, this position will lead the function for our Digital, Creative, and PR offerings and will advise and coach leaders in support of the achievement of their business objectives for the year, through compensation management, employee development and retention programs and strategic HR programs focused on training, organizational development, and talent strategy. In addition, this role ensures consistency of ICF’s talent management practices are implemented throughout ICF Olson. This position reports to the Chief People Officer.

What you’ll get to do:

The big picture goal is to design/implement leading practices in performance management, succession planning, organizational development, inclusion & diversity, and employee engagement

  • Research and recommend progressive human resource programs that will enhance overall organizational effectiveness and enhance the ability of the company to meet its strategic business goals
  • Structure, plan and implement end-to-end Human Resources Management initiatives (from ideation to execution) in an agile, iterative way
  • Develop and execute talent management plans to ensure that our best talent is placed in the right positions and manage on-going development
  • Lead efforts to define and implement HR organizational processes and a strategy to leverage HR Technology tools
  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers across our organization

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience related to the successful delivery of Strategic HR
  • Strong employee relations background
  • Organizational design experience a must
  • Large-scale and/or global transformation with change management experience
  • Ability to meet travel requirements
  • Experience leading a thriving virtual team
  • Understanding of industry/workforce trends
  • Understanding of program design, development and administration of HR processes
  • Experience with HCM systems, preferably Workday
  • Workforce planning, digital tools and people analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Team player with the ability to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment with diverse, geographically dispersed clients
  • Sound business ethics and judgment, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting a large, complex, multi-location organization required while working with people across various offices.
