The Sr. Business Analyst will work with stakeholders to understand the business goals and objectives of the projects. You will be on the front lines of conceptualizing our systems and working with the client to enhance our members experience while working with the best and brightest in design and UX experience development. Based in Fairfax, VA with monthly travel to St. Louis, MO (3-4 Days).
The Business Analyst (BA) will work to define/analyze requirements, test system functionality, develop user documentation, conduct training necessary for the successful execution of the project, and provide post deployment user support
Document requirements using user stories and flow diagrams
Participate in QA to ensure testing will match requirements and fulfill the intended business needs
Participate in the scrum teams making sure that the team goals are fulfilled each Sprint
5+ yrs end to end experience in Software development lifecycle
5+ yrs conducting and leading interviews to gather and validate requirements
Demonstrated experience creating business process workflows, possibly using MS Visio
Perform Data Analysis to identify patterns and trends to define requirements
Experience maintaining Product Backlog in Jira, prioritizing User Stories for Sprints
Breaking down tasks into Epics, Stories & Tasks
Ability to multi-task – address current sprint needs, plan for future sprint and gather & validate requirements from Customer.
Ability to travel monthly to client site.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially in a client interaction context
Ability to work independently and within a team with excellent time management and reporting skills
